STAGECLASS

The Stage Class is an additional commitment and provided for those students who wish to take part in competitions and events to gain performance experience. Classes are on a Wednesday evening at 5.45 – 7.15pm. Involvement requires commitment from both the student and the parent/guardian.

SOLOS, DUETS & TRIOS

Stageclass Students have the opportunity to participate in Competitions for Solo, Duet and Trios. Students commence their journey with the Novice competitions and progress to Open Competitions and when ready can compete in the BTDA All England Championships.

FAQ's

Where are classes held?

All Classes are held at the IAC Building Garden Street Leicester. We have six studios and you will be shown around the building and directed to the correct studio for your class.

How do I join the school?

Please contact us by phone or email and a viewing can be arranged, you will then be asked to complete an enrolment form.

When can I join?

Enrolment is taken from June to February each year.

What age can I start?

Students can join the school from 2 years upwards (providing they are toilet trained).

How much do classes cost?

How do I pay for classes?

Once enrolled in classes an invoice is emailed each month. This details the classes that students participate in. Payment should be made by the first Saturday of the month either by Card, online or over the phone or cash at reception.

    Great decision to come to the Ann Oliver Stage School, Friendly atmosphere, Teachers maximize the potential of each dancer and there are lots of opportunities to take examinations and perform throughout the year

    We have been coming to the dance school for the last 11 years. Throughout this time I have seen progression in our children due to the dedication of the teachers and guest choreographers. My children have competed in competitions and have taken part in extra lessons such as stageclass and roadshow

    My daughter has been coming to Ann Oliver’s for about 4 years and has grown in confidence so much over that time

    After dancing with Ann Oliver for 10 years in the 80’s there was no better place to return with my own kids…. 13 years later with 3 daughters in the school, we are still loving every minute

    Having started dancing at the Ann Oliver Stage School in the mid 70’s, I continued until the late 80’s before moving on to a college in London upon having my own daughter I returned to the school in 2008 for her to have the experience that I learnt and enjoyed
